Assistant Professor Dr. Farah Thamer participated in a workshop organized by the Iraqi Center for Cancer and Medical Genetics, in collaboration with Kamal Al-Samarrai Hospital and the Higher Institute for Infertility Diagnosis, on Tuesday, November 28, 2023. The workshop, titled “Advancements in Assisted Reproductive Technologies,” addressed key recommendations:
- Urging relevant authorities to engage with the Ministries of Higher Education and Health to encourage specialized infertility and in vitro fertilization centers to regularly enhance their specialized workforce.
- Conducting courses, conferences, and workshops while inviting major companies in the field to support governmental in vitro fertilization centers.
- Engaging with the media to raise awareness and promote societal culture regarding infertility treatment through assisted reproductive technologies.
